Update 5/21: management (Michael) has helped attempt to make the situation better. While still awaiting resolution, he has shown responsiveness and professionalism BED BUGS ON FLOOR 9. Please be aware bed bugs have ridden floor 9, unit 901 in particular. Management has provided zero response to my concerns / not addressed the issue (so future residents are suffering). Management advised I would be contacted 2 days ago, and still nothing. Meanwhile, I have a termination bill of $1,500 to get rid of the bed bugs I got from unit 901 at the renaissance Allentown hotel. And they’ve taken zero ownership to making it right

Adoramos este hotel. Um dos meus favoritos da marca Renaissance. Realmente moderno, situado no meio de uma antiga cidade nordestina. As vistas da antiga Allentown do restaurante são muito agradáveis. Os quartos e o lounge são de alto nível.

We love this hotel. One of my favorites of the Renaissance brand. Really modern, set in the midst of an old northeast city. The views of old Allentown from the restaurant are really nice. Rooms and lounge are top-notch.

Great bed, spacious room, and top notch staff. Trip from the parking lot is a bit of a maze, and chair in the room was oddly uncomfortable, but those are minor blemishes on a really lovely experience. Great job, y'all 😘

Muy bueno y tranquilo. Excelentes habitaciones. Son muy amables en el servicio, está muy limpio todo. El hotel está en el epicentro de la cuidad. Es muy accesible a todo lo que circunda.

Chris na recepção foi acima e além. Ele me ajudou a encontrar estacionamento e ficou no telefone comigo o tempo todo até encontrar a garagem. Ele foi muito paciente comigo. Ele foi ótimo e merece um aumento. Ele é muito profissional. Ainda não terminei minha estadia, mas estou escrevendo isso porque ele já me deu uma impressão 5.0 do hotel sem a estadia. É tudo sobre o rosto do hotel e ele fez um ótimo trabalho.

Chris at the front desk went above and beyond. He helped me find parking and stayed on the phone with me the whole time until I found the parking garage. He was very patient with me. He was great and deserves a raise. He is very professional. I haven’t completed my stay yet but I’m writing this because he already gave me a 5.0 impression of the hotel without the stay. It’s all about the face of the hotel and he did a great job.

Tivemos uma ótima experiência no processo de check-in - quarto bonito e limpo. Excelente bebida e serviço no bar. Se estiver procurando um evento no hotel - as suítes de negócios e a equipe foram incríveis, incluindo a configuração e o equipamento digital necessário, bem como as opções de almoço e o sabor da comida. Carson foi a melhor pessoa absoluta da recepção. Nos levou para fora para obter DoorDash quando nos sentimos desconfortáveis para garantir que estávamos seguros e nos deu um café da manhã gratuito no centavo! ! Lindo quarto e belas vistas das artes caminham do lado de fora da nossa janela :)

Eu fiquei no The Renaissance em Washington D.C., então pensei que seria uma estadia tão boa quanto aquela, mas não foi. Eu poderia dizer que o quarto não estava devidamente limpo porque a cama estava enrugada e havia marcas de mãos na janela. Tem que ser porque a equipe baixa. A coisa mais estranha sobre o hotel é a entrada. Tivemos problemas para encontrar a entrada, circulando o hotel até que finalmente encontramos uma garagem.. até isso era estranho. Tivemos que atravessar outro prédio para chegar ao hotel. Tarde da noite ouvimos carros correndo. O hotel também cheira .. Como eu entendo sua assinatura é o perfume, mas uau. Foi tão forte. É intolerável. Concordo com os outros, a área é incompleta e é como uma cidade fantasma. Ficar aqui me faz questionar como conseguiu quase 5 estrelas. Eu fico muito em hotéis e isso foi surpreendente… definitivamente não ficaria aqui. Acho que terminei com o Renascimento.

Eu teria colocado 5 estrelas se não tivesse sido difícil aquecer o quarto. Permaneceu frio, não importa o quão alto eu colocasse o calor. Além disso, as cortinas blackout realmente funcionariam se o designer tivesse pensado em bloquear a luz que vem de cima. Está faltando uma cobertura de madeira como você vê em muitos hotéis.O quarto que eu tinha era muito limpo, bem decorado e espaçoso, com belas janelas grandes. A cama era confortável. Houve um mini-frigorífico e uma pequena máquina de café. O banheiro também era bem feito e agradável. As vantagens eram ótimas, mas pode ser apenas para membros platinum (não tenho certeza): um belo lounge com guloseimas para levar para o seu quarto, como chocolate quente, café com leite, chás, frutas, refrigerantes… e a qualquer momento. Pequeno-almoço gratuito no restaurante ao fim-de-semana ou se não houver serviço disponível nesse horário no salão. Há lojinhas legais ao lado do hotel, como salão de manicure, Starbucks, loja de donuts… e se o estádio ao lado estiver aberto, há mais para escolher.

I’ve stayed at The Renaissance in Washington D.C., so I thought this would be as nice a stay as that one, however it was not. I could tell the room wasn’t properly cleaned because the bed was wrinkled and there were handprints on the window. It has to be because the low staff. The weirdest thing about the hotel is the entrance. We had trouble finding the entrance, circling the hotel until we finally found a parking garage.. even that was weird. We had to walk through another building to get to the hotel. Late at night we heard cars racing. The hotel also smells.. Like I understand their signature is the perfume, but wow. It was so strong. It’s intolerable. I agree with others, the area is sketchy and it’s like a ghost town. Staying here makes me question how it managed to get almost 5 stars. I stay at hotels a lot and this was surprising… definitely would not stay here. I think I’m done with Renaissance.

Carson was the absolute best front desk person. Walked us outside to get DoorDash when we felt uncomfortable to make sure we were safe and gave us a free breakfast at the dime!! Beautiful room and beautiful views of the arts walk right outside our window:)

Had a great experience from the check in process- clean beautiful room. Great drink and service at the bar. If looking to have an event at the hotel - the business suites and staff were amazing including set up and the digital equipment needed as well as lunch options and food taste was amazing. Great staff, thank you- would recommend the hotel!!

I would have put 5 stars if it had not been hard to warm up the room. It remained cold no matter how high I put the heat up. Also the blackout curtains would really worked if the designer had thought about blocking the light coming from the top. It is missing a wood covering like you see in many hotels.It is unfortunate to have fancy blocking light curtains which cannot really do the job in the morning. The room I had was very clean, nicely decorated, and spacious with beautiful large windows. The bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge and little coffee maker. The bathroom was also well done and pleasant. The perks were great but it might only be for platinum members (not sure): a beautiful lounge with goodies to take to your room such as hot cocoa, latte, teas, fruits, sodas… and at any time. Free breakfast in the restaurant on the weekend or if there is no service available at that time in the lounge. There are nice little stores right next to the hotel such as nail parlor, Starbucks, donut store… and if the stadium next door is open then there more to choose from.

O quarto era muito bom com uma cama confortável. Quando fomos para o nosso brunch de domingo, QUE DECEPÇÃO!!! Quando chegamos lá, não havia café, os bagels e o pão tinham que ficar pelo menos uma semana, estavam duros e secos. Não havia doces que foram listados no menu. Sem talheres, sem manteiga, sem suco de laranja, sem tigelas para o iogurte que foi servido em uma tigela grande. Não havia placa indicando que você deveria sentar e se servir. E tudo isso por R$ 12,00 cada. Eu teria feito melhor indo ao McDonalds.

The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. When we went for our Sunday brunch, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! When we got there, there was no coffee, the bagels and bread had to be setting out for at least a week, they were that hard and dried. There were no pastries which were listed on the menu. No silverware, no butter, no orange juice, no bowls for the yogurt which was served in a large bowl. There was no sign indicating you should seat and serve yourself. And all this for $12.00 apiece. I would have done better going to McDonalds.

Este hotel é conveniente e bonito de se olhar, mas o serviço é absolutamente atroz. Com exceção de Ângela, que foi o ponto de contato para o nosso bloco de quartos de hotel para casamento. Todos os outros funcionários do hotel foram terríveis. A recepcionista não teve problemas em solicitar uma bebida enquanto íamos ao Starbucks, mas continuou a nos lembrar repetidamente como eles tinham falta de pessoal e como ela estava estressada. NÃO é culpa dos hóspedes que o hotel tenha apenas 2, isto é, 2 carrinhos de sino para transferir a bagagem de e para os quartos e garagens de estacionamento. A recepcionista nos perseguiu várias vezes para nos lembrar como ela estava estressada e como estávamos "monopolizando" os carrinhos enquanto fazíamos o check-out às 11h. Nosso casamento transcorreu sem problemas no cofre, 634, a pior parte de toda a experiência foi o hotel Renaissance. Eu normalmente não deixo comentários ruins sobre lugares, mas isso exigiu uma revisão que realmente capturasse o caos que a equipe da recepção deste hotel causou. Eu NUNCA vou ficar aqui novamente devido ao seu pessoal. E falta de cortesia demonstrada neste hotel. Eles deveriam estar envergonhados

This hotel is convenient and pretty to look at but the service is absolutely atrocious. With the exception of Angela, who was the point of contact for our wedding hotel room block. All other hotel staff were terrible. The front desk woman had no problem requesting a drink as we went to Starbucks but then continued to remind us time and time again how understaffed they were and how stressed she was. It is NOT the guests fault that the hotel only has 2, that’s right 2 bell carts to transfer luggage to and from the rooms and parking garages. The front desk lady chased us down multiple times to remind us how stressed she was and how we were “hogging” the carts as we were checking out at 11 am. Our wedding went off without a hitch at vault 634 the worst part of the whole experience was the Renaissance hotel. I don’t normally leave poor reviews for places but this called for a review that truly captured the chaos the front desk staff at this hotel caused. I will NEVER stay here again due to their staffing. And lack of courtesy shown at this hotel. They should be embarrassed
