Pestana Douro Riverside, member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, is located on the right bank of the Douro River, 10 minutes away from Porto city center. A fascinating setting for your stay! Inspired by the aromas of floral soaps once produced here, each floor is dedicated to the scent and color of the flowers that identifies it: lavender, jasmine, orange blossom, rose, cherry blossom, chamomile, geranium and lily. “Although travelling with a young infant is quite difficult, the staff at Pestana Douro Riverside made our stay as pleasant as possible by always attending to our unique needs. The room was clean, spacious, and had a wonderful view of the pool and Douro River. We were part of a large group attending a wedding; we all took advantage of the wonderful pool and poolside bar service. The breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of offerings. The other guests did mention that they used many of the other amenities such as the gym and shared positive thoughts. Overall a wonderful stay for my family and I. I'd like to highlight the efforts of David, Makarena, and Hugo who were particularly helpful in making our stay at Pestana Douro Riverside a memorably positive experience.”
