A private yacht soothing spa and meandering pool shaded by palm trees are among the highlights at the non-smoking Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. There are plenty of fitness options and a wide range of eateries. In a striking glass-and-stone tower the Grand Hyatt offers 549 non-smoking rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows rich wood paneling and seemingly endless amenities: flat-panel TVs that are 42 inches or larger comfortable beds topped with feather pillows and spacious desks with wired and wireless internet connections available for a fee. Morning newspapers are on the house as is a shoeshine service. A private yacht is at your disposal as are a 50-meter outdoor heated pool five fitness studios tennis and squash courts jogging track and golf driving range. On the 11th floor the sybaritic spa has private treatment rooms where you can indulge in a massage or a facial. Everything from steaks to sushi is available in the hotel's nine restaurants and lounges but you might prefer the privacy of in-rooms dining. Same-day dry cleaning is a windfall when you have to look your best. Parking is available. Adjacent to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and near many foreign consulates the Grand Hyatt has a hard-to-beat address for business travelers. Also nearby in the Wan Chai neighborhood you'll find the Hong Kong Centre for Performing Arts. Hong Kong International Airport is 24 miles west.

“Seeing the excellent reviews, I was really looking forward to our staycation here but unfortunately it wasn't for us. The service was great, I have no complaints about that and thank the staff for their kindness. The room was decent, but we only had views of the opposite building and playground from the 20th floor. The main perk that came with the package was a poolside BBQ, which we were anticipating but deeply disappointed about. There was little variety of foods: the taste of most dishes were okay, but some were bad. It was the worst buffet we've tried at a 5 star hotel in hk. To top it off, the pool was on maintenance, so we were seated beside an empty, barricaded pool. We couldn't experience poolside dining or take photos, which was the main reason we chose this hotel and I didn't see any notice of pool maintenance on the website when booking. For nearly $3000 on a Thursday/non-holiday night, I've had much better buffets/perks at a number of other hotels in HK. Even at hotels of lower prices, we got a decent view from our room and great buffets, so we never thought the buffet would be of this quality. Overall, the experience wasn't comparable to other hotels we've stayed at, despite the price being on the higher end. Needless to say, we won't be returning.”
