The hotel is located opposite the Santa Lucia park, in the historical centre of old Mérida. It is also located 3 blocks from the main square, the cathedral, the contemporary art museum and other major tourist attractions. The hotel was created at the end of the nineteenth century and has been remodelled with respect to the historical elements, yet introducing new features to offer comfort to guests such as gardens, stone fountains, a restaurant, room service and parking. Comprising 15 rooms, the air-conditioned establishment offers a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a café and a bar. WLAN Internet access, a laundry service and a car park are also provided. In the rooms of the hotel, the floors are made of a material called 'French paste' combined with wood. The rooms also feature en suite Mexican 'cantera' stone bathrooms with English porcelain bathtubs, a shower and a hairdryer, hand-forged wrought iron elements and oil paintings. Amenities include double or king-size beds, a satellite/cable television, direct dial telephone, radio, Internet access, individually regulated air conditioning and a safe. A minibar, an ironing set and a terrace provide additional convenience and comfort. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and there are sun loungers and parasols laid out on the sun terrace for use. Guests can also pamper themselves with a massage or spa treatment. A continental breakfast is served each morning, whilst lunch and dinner are offered à la carte.
