“I’m not sure why there are 1 star reviews for this resort because we had an amazing time. I was concerned before coming because of some reviews however if you are thinking about visiting Royalton Riviera DO IT!! we are here now on our honey moon and have had an amazing experience so far. We were upgraded for free to an ocean front room, and the beach is all sandy with very minimal seaweed. The food is the best I have ever had in Mexico with items to please everyone (I’m vegetarian and have had great food). The service has been awesome, the staff are very attentive and friendly that it doesn’t take long to get assistance when needed. There are multiple pools to decide between daily and there’s enough beach cabana beds that you’re never left without a chair or day bed. This is my 5th time in Mexico now and this place truly has been the best!! Highly recommend”

“Muy buena comida e instalaciones muy completas y diversas. El servicio es bueno, pero si no eres extranjero se notará la diferencia en el trato del personal del hotel. Aún con todo incluído la exigencia de propina es evidente para que consideren llevar dinero si quieren recibir un mejor trato. Considerar que el complejo está retirado, por lo que viajar en taxi hacia otros lugares costará más de 1,000 pesos por cada viaje redondo.”
